Example report workbook

Download the example Report Builder export (XLSX) to review layout, summary tabs, and chart data before you run a report in your workspace. The example export uses Portfolio scope, Annual granularity, a 2020–2026 date range, Year over year comparison, By Building breakdown, and Consumption and Cost metrics with accruals included. For every sheet the workbook contains and what each holds, see Report Builder workbook sheets.
Open Table of Contents first in a new export. It lists every sheet and notes which tabs include chart data.

Download or edit an existing report

Saved reports stay on the Reports table until you delete them. To run an export again or change settings, open the report from the edit icon.
1

Open the report

On the Reports page, click the edit (pencil) icon on the report row. The Report Builder wizard opens on Review & Submit with the saved configuration summary.
2

Download the file

Click Download XLSX or Download PDF (when configured) to export the report with current data. EnerG uses the saved scope, time range, metrics, and formats.
3

Adjust settings optional

To change the report, click Previous and move through the wizard steps. You can update any option from report creation: Basic Setup, Dataset & Scope, Time Configuration, or Export Configuration. Click Submit when you reach Export Configuration to regenerate, then download from Review & Submit.
You do not download existing reports directly from the table row. Use the edit icon to open Review & Submit and download from there.

Delete a report

Click the delete (trash) icon on a row to remove a saved report you no longer need.
Deleting a report removes its saved configuration. Downloaded files on your computer are not affected.

Use reports for compliance and ESG

Teams use EnerG exports for compliance reporting, ESG submissions, and internal stakeholder updates. You remain responsible for confirming that exported fields meet each program’s rules. EnerG supplies the data; your team validates fit for each filing.
Store export settings you reuse each quarter so column names and units stay consistent across filing cycles.
Detailed meter exports and comparison workflows also live under Data Quality in EnerG. Open Data quality overview when you need raw interval or register detail beyond standard summary reports.
