Asset fields and columns

List columns

These columns appear on the building asset list.

Column	Description
Name	The asset name
Category	Equipment, Architectural, or Furniture
Type	The specific asset type (for example, AHU, VAV, Boiler)
Model number	Manufacturer model number
Area	The building area where the asset is located
Status	Active, Out of Service, or Decommissioned

Bulk-editable fields

Bulk edit supports the fields below. Dropdown fields use Select an option. Text fields use Enter. Date fields use the date picker (mm/dd/yyyy). Classification and location

Asset category (for example, Equipment).

Asset type within the category (for example, VAV, AHU).

Network IP address for the asset.

Date the asset was installed.

Asset weight. Choose units: lb or Pounds.

Bulk edit does not include every field on the asset detail page. Fields such as Serial number and MAC address are available when you edit a single asset.

Detail page fields

The General information section of the asset detail page lists these attributes.

Field	Description
Name	Asset name. An external-link icon opens the linked Cloud BMS device when applicable.
Category	Equipment, Architectural, or Furniture
Type	Specific asset type within the category (for example, VAV, AHU)
Location	Specific location description within the building
IP address	Network IP address
MAC address	Network MAC address
Model number	Manufacturer model number
Serial number	Manufacturer serial number
Installation date	Date the asset was installed
Warranty date	Warranty expiration date
Commission date	Date the asset was commissioned
Turnover date	Date turned over to operations
Asset tag	Unique identifier tag
Weight	Asset weight (for example, `100lb`)
Status	Active, Out of Service, or Decommissioned
Life expectancy	Expected useful life (for example, `100d`)
Manufactured by	Manufacturer name
Commissioned by	Vendor that commissioned the asset
Installed by	Vendor that installed the asset
Serviced by	Vendor that services the asset
Initial cost	Original purchase cost
Repair cost	Cost of last repair
Replacement cost	Estimated replacement cost
Firmware version	Device firmware version
OS version	Operating system version

Technical specifications

Technical specifications lists HVAC and electrical ratings separate from general information.

Detail page tabs

Tab	Purpose
Details	Asset fields, technical specs, and related schedules and work orders
Sources	Data sources linked to the asset
Attachments	Files attached to the asset record

Source record columns

The Sources tab lists each data source record linked to the asset.

Column	Description
Name	Display name for the linked source record. Select the name to open source details.
Identifier	Unique ID for the record in the data source (for example, `h:c4c5`).
Data source	Connector or import source name (for example, `jace`).

Source detail fields

Select a source record name to open a read-only modal. The General tab shows these values.

Identifier	Source-system ID (for example, `h:c4c5`)
Name	Record name in the source (for example, `VAV_304`)
MAC address	MAC address from the source
IP address	IP address from the source
Manufacturer	Manufacturer reported by the source
Model	Model reported by the source
Firmware version	Firmware version from the source
OS version	Operating system version from the source

Empty values display as a dash.

Fields on work orders that reference assets.

Fields that determine which assets a schedule covers.
