# Building BI on mobile

> Navigate Building BI collections, open published dashboards, and apply filters on the KODE OS mobile app.

Check a published dashboard from the field instead of waiting until you're back at a desk. Mobile delivers the analytics published from [Building BI](/products/building-bi/overview), the KODE OS analytics and dashboard module. You browse collections, open dashboards and reports, apply filters, and favorite items for quick return. Dashboard design and publishing stay on the web.

## How to open Building BI

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="From portfolio">
    Swipe up the `Portfolio` sheet and select `BuildingBI`. The map stays visible behind the sheet until the module loads.

  <Tab title="From a site">

## Collections home

The `BuildingBI` home screen lists collections as expandable sections. Only collections and dashboards your administrator published to mobile appear here.

* Open linked views such as `Device Details` and `Floor Plans` when the author added them
* Tap the blue refresh FAB to reload data after filters change

When the author enabled `Mobile Layout` on the web, widgets resize and stack for phone screens. Dashboards without that configuration render the desktop layout instead. Scroll vertically in portrait or rotate to landscape for a wider view.
