> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://documentation.kodelabs.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # AssetOps and work orders in Cloud BMS > Access AssetOps and manage building work orders from the Cloud BMS building sidebar when AssetOps is enabled When **AssetOps** is enabled for a client organization, users with access see **AssetOps** and **Work orders** in the Cloud BMS building sidebar. You can open the full AssetOps building experience or work directly in **Work orders** without leaving Cloud BMS. Work orders in Cloud BMS use the same building-level AssetOps capabilities as the standalone AssetOps app: list and filter work, create orders, open details, bulk edit, and export data. For portfolio-wide views and configuration, see [AssetOps](/products/assetops/quickstart/overview). Enable AssetOps per building in [Launchpad](/products/launchpad/channel-partners/product-enablement) before the modules appear in Cloud BMS. This is separate from [FDD work orders](/products/fdd/work-orders), which generate CMMS tickets from fault events. *** ## Building sidebar modules At the building level, the left sidebar includes module links alongside systems, devices, and points. | Module | Purpose | | --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **AssetOps** | Opens the AssetOps building application in a new context. Use it for assets, schedules, asset discovery, teams, and other building maintenance modules. | | **Work orders** | Opens the building work orders list inside Cloud BMS. Use it for day-to-day work order triage and updates. | Both modules require AssetOps to be enabled for the building. If you do not see them, confirm product enablement with your administrator. *** ## Work order list Select **Work orders** in the building sidebar to open the list for that site. Cloud BMS Work Orders page with building sidebar showing AssetOps and Work Orders, status summary cards, search, Focus Mode, Filters, and work order table ### Status summary cards Select a card to filter the table by status. | Status | Description | | --------------- | --------------------------------------- | | **Open** | Created but not yet started | | **In progress** | Currently being worked on | | **On hold** | Paused | | **For review** | Completed work awaiting review | | **Completed** | Finished work | | **Failed** | Work that did not complete successfully | | **Cancelled** | Cancelled work orders | | **Overdue** | Past due date and not completed | ### List actions * **Search** — Filter the table by text across visible fields * **Focus mode** — Show work orders that need immediate attention (SLA breached, warnings, high priority). See [Custom filters](#custom-filters). * **+ Create work order** — Start a new work order. See [Create a work order](#create-a-work-order). * **Edit** and **Delete** — Appear when you select one or more rows * Vertical ellipsis menu — Additional actions such as **Export** Select a **Title** link or the external-link icon beside the title to open the [work order detail page](/products/assetops/work-orders/work-orders-overview#work-order-detail-page). The detail experience matches [Building work orders](/products/assetops/work-orders/work-orders-overview) in AssetOps. ### Table columns Use the column control and horizontal scroll to show all fields. | Column | Description | | --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Title** | Work order name as a link, with work order ID below (for example, `WO-10205`) | | **Status** | Current lifecycle status | | **Work type** | Program type (for example, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection) | | **Asset** | Asset the work applies to | | **Located in** | Building area or location hierarchy | | **Priority** | Priority level from [Priority & SLA](/products/assetops/portfolio/priority-sla) | | **Schedule** | Source schedule name and ID. Select the link to open the schedule on the [building schedules](/products/assetops/schedules/schedules-overview#schedule-detail-page) page. | | **Tasks** | Task count or summary | | **Deficiency** | Linked deficiency or inspection finding when applicable | | **SLA status** | SLA state (for example, on track, warning, breached) | | **Created date** | Date the work order was created | | **Start date & time** | Scheduled or actual start | | **Due date & time** | Target completion date and time | | **Logged time** | Total time logged on the detail page | | **Assignee** | User assigned to the work | | **Team assigned** | Team assigned to the work | | **Category & issue** | Category and issue type | | **Follow up** | Indicates whether follow-up work is required or pending | ### Export Open the vertical ellipsis menu in the list header and select **Export** to download work order data. *** ## Custom filters Select **Filters** to narrow the list. Work Orders filters sidebar with Created Date, Start Date and Time, Due Date and Time, Work Type, Inspection Type, and Priority fields | Filter | Description | | --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Created date** | Date range when work orders were created | | **Start date & time** | Scheduled or actual start range | | **Due date & time** | Target completion range | | **Work type** | Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspection, or other types | | **Inspection type** | Inspection category for inspection work orders | | **Priority** | Priority level | Additional filters such as category, assignee, and asset are documented on [Building work orders](/products/assetops/work-orders/work-orders-overview#custom-filters). Select **Clear all** to reset filters. *** ## Bulk edit work orders Update multiple work orders from the list. Work Orders list with rows selected and Edit and Delete buttons enabled in the toolbar Use row checkboxes or the header checkbox to select work orders. Select **Edit** in the toolbar. Enable the checkbox for each field you want to change, enter values, then select **Save**. Changes apply to every selected work order. Bulk **Delete** permanently removes selected records and cannot be undone. Target due date and time for selected work orders. User assigned to the selected work orders. Team assigned to the selected work orders. Lifecycle status for selected work orders. Optional note recorded with a status change. *** ## Create a work order Select **+ Create work order** to add corrective or other generic work for the current building. Create Work Order form with Title, Work Type, Asset, Located In, Category, Issue Type, Priority, Description, and Attachments upload The form matches the [building create flow](/products/assetops/work-orders/work-orders-overview#create-a-work-order). Required fields include **Title**, **Work type**, **Category**, **Issue type**, and **Priority**. [Routing and dispatch](/products/assetops/resources/routing-dispatch) may prefill **Assign team** and **Assignee** when rules exist. Select **Save** to create the work order, then open it from the list to manage tasks, logged time, and follow-ups on the work order detail page. *** ## Work order detail page Select a **Title** link from the list to open the detail page in building context. The header shows the work order name, ID badge, comment icon, and a vertical ellipsis menu for actions such as status history and delete. Work order Details tab in Cloud BMS showing Completed status, Schedule and Log link, Asset link, and Tasks with 6 of 6 completed The **Details** tab includes **General information** (status, dates, work type, assignee, schedule log, and asset links) and a **Tasks** checklist with **Update multiple** for bulk task updates. **Attachments** and **Follow-ups** tabs match the [Building work orders](/products/assetops/work-orders/work-orders-overview#work-order-detail-page) reference. *** ## Open AssetOps from Cloud BMS Select **AssetOps** in the building sidebar to open the AssetOps building application. From there you can manage [assets](/products/assetops/assets/assets), [schedules](/products/assetops/schedules/schedules-overview), [asset discovery](/products/assetops/assets/asset-discovery), and other modules documented in the AssetOps product guide.
