# Building dashboards overview

> Open building-level Energy, interval, and waste dashboards in EnerG

Building dashboards show how one site performs on energy, water, waste, and related metrics. In the [building view](/products/energ/get-started/navigation#building-view), expand `Dashboards` in the left sidebar to open commodity dashboards and specialized reports.

Select a building from portfolio `Home`, then click `Go to Building` before you open a dashboard.

## Dashboard categories

## Energy dashboards and reports

`Energy` is the default dashboard category for most building reviews. It includes **Monthly Reports** with **Usage** and **Cost** lenses, service-type and meter breakdowns, and baseline comparison charts.

The Energy secondary menu also links to `Annual Reports`, `Comparison`, `Interval Trends`, `Target`, `Data Quality`, `Data Table`, and `Baseline Analysis`. See [Portfolio and building navigation](/products/energ/get-started/navigation#energy-dashboard-report-menu) for the full list.

## Water dashboards and reports

`Water` includes **Monthly Reports** with **Usage** and **Cost** lenses, service-type and meter breakdowns, and baseline comparison charts for one building.

The Water secondary menu also links to `Annual Reports`, `Comparison`, `Target`, `Data Quality`, and `Data Table`.

## Waste dashboard

`Waste` shows KPI cards, monthly quantity and cost charts, diversion rate, and composition breakdowns for one building. Unlike Energy and Water, there is no secondary report menu.

Use the [Building Waste dashboard](/products/energ/analytics/building-dashboards-waste) to create streams and enter pickup data.

## Interval trends

Open **Interval Trends** from the [Building Energy dashboard](/products/energ/analytics/building-dashboards-energy#interval-trends) report menu after you select **Energy** under **Dashboards**.
