# Notification events

> Reference for AssetOps work order notification events, delivery methods, and recipient options

Look up every work order event AssetOps can notify on, along with its delivery methods and recipient options. To configure notifications, see [Notification settings](/products/assetops/quickstart/notifications).

  Delivery methods
</h2>

| Method    | Description                                                                             |
| --------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Push**  | Sends a push notification, including to the [mobile app](/products/mobile-app/glossary) |
| **Email** | Sends an email to the selected recipients                                               |

  Recipient types
</h2>

| Recipient                | Who receives the notification                                          |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current assignee**     | User currently assigned to the work order                              |
| **Lead member**          | Lead member responsible for the work order                             |
| **Team assigned**        | All members of the assigned [team](/products/assetops/resources/teams) |
| **User role recipients** | Every user with a selected KODE OS role                                |
| **Custom recipients**    | Named users, regardless of role                                        |

</h2>

Each event has its own delivery methods and recipients. Two events add a day threshold.

</h2>

| ---------------------------- | ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Work order due soon**      | **Days before due date** | Sends the notification this many days ahead of the due date     |
| **Work order still overdue** | **Days past due date**   | Sends the notification this many days after the due date passes |
